Our Approach
Our journey is inspired by how Technology has fundamentally changed the world around us and many industries with it. How can we use technology to create better learning environments for kids around the world and what new skills do kids need to learn to be part of this technological revolution?
At the same time it seems that kids are not getting enough opportunity to learn and train skills that matter in our modern world like: How can kids learn the key tools to learn by themselves, research and find their own way to approach new subjects, collaborate with others, be empathetic, the analytical skills to understand the world around them and build new things, find creative courage and embrace a tinkerers mindset.
We want to create environments where kids can learn these skills that are relevant in the 21st century and that school does not necessarily teach them.
But most importantly we ourselves are starting with a number of questions that we have set out to explore and learn more about:
- What skills will be relevant in the future? Programming, leadership, curiosity, grit, languages...?
- What is the role of a teacher in the future of kids education?
- How can learning be personalized?
- How can passion and curiosity be sparked? Or is it innate?
- Can we afford to educate everyone? Can we afford not to?
- Will education lead to work in the future?
- How should parents involve themselves in the children's learning?
- What is the role of technology in the classroom?
- Does the future school have classrooms? Or will it be done from everyone's home?
- How do you become a great teacher?
- How do we make sure children learn for life and not for the test?
- Is there an ideal methodology to learn for everyone? Or even one that suits one person over time?
- How does one find one's passion and learning style?
